FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My current fees are $120 for individual sessions and $150 for couple's sessions. I do not accept insurance, but am happy to provide receipts for clients, which may help with reimbursement through any out of network coverage you may carry
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If it seems like we may be a good fit in terms of location and availability, please give me a call to set up an initial appointment, called an intake. During this 1.5 hour appointment, I will get to know a bit more about you, your current concerns and goals, and your history, and you can ask me any questions you may have. If you find this appointment in line with your expectations and hopes for therapy, then we can plan a regular, weekly meeting time of approximately 1 hour.

I hold a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, among the highest and most comprehensive degrees in the field of psychology. This means that I have received 6+ years of graduate training in various models of psychotherapy and counseling, as well as in the research and teaching of psychology. My education, couple with nearly a decade of experience in the clinical field, renders me well equipped to work with a variety of different individuals and a number of common concerns. In addition to my generalist education, I also have obtained specialized experience and training in working with sexual assault survivors, LGBTQ individuals and couple, and individuals struggling with gender or gender identity issues.
