FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I consider my pricing fairly competitive. I like making a higher-end product achievable for the DIY client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally I like to meet a couple of times with the client first to get an idea of their personal listening styles versus what they would like to achieve musically at their event. Once we have had a chance to really get comfortable communicating what the goal/objective/hopes/expectations are, then we will work with each other putting together a playlist. I like to give every client an opportunity to be as involved or uninvolved with the music planning process as they would like to be. If you want to leave it all up to me, great! If you want to send me some requests, great! If you want to make the whole playlist and let me mix it, great! I am very open and flexible to making sure the client's needs are met.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of my "training" has been hands on over the last 10 years. I started off shadowing different DJ's, then I would fill in for a portion of a set, and then eventually I was able to play an entire show by myself. I have learned everything the good old fashioned way!
