FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My typical rate is $250.00 an hour, but it varies so much depending upon the project, budget of the client, amount of images wanted, whether prints are involved etc. I like to work one-on-one my clients to come up with a price that suits both of us, rather than just dictating my prices. I also try to avoid saying no to people that have much to spend! I love my work and I want others to be apart of it as much as possible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Changes every time, but my biggest rule is getting to know them (at least a little bit) first. Upon initial contact with a client, I love to have a quick chat over the phone to get to a sense of the event and them as a person! From there, we nut out the specifics and have a chat about the tone and imagery of the photos. I like to include my clients in the process as much as possible so there's no surprises!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm mostly self-taught, or rather, taught from photographers much better than I. I have also done a fair share of classes along the way.
