Zoe Ley - Sympatico Cello Studio

I believe in a truly holistic and deeply committed and involved musical education for every student, so in addition to tailoring my curriculum for each, I offer a variety of additional activities to enrich the musical experience, from studio classes and recitals to workshops, cello ensembles and more. There are so many more things to learn than can be taught in a single private lesson each week, and I try to do as much as possible to bring that to my students' educational experiences. Well... Everything! Watching students grow, not just as cellists but as people, seeing where their artistic journey leads, what they discover over time and what they end up loving that they had never been interested in before, etc. I also enjoy fostering a community and helping students learn from and support eachother. And on my own behalf, I enjoy the way addressing each students challenges in turn challenges me to reflect on my own playing and break it down to find out why and how it works. It makes me a better musician, and in that way, I am growing right along with my students.
