FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Different projects and their needs determine my pricing. The biggest factor I take into account when pricing a project is time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process for a print design begins with initial discussions so that I can get a full understanding of what you need and what the project details are. The next phase is research and collect, where I will acquire all of the assets necessary for the project (copy, photos, etc.). Then I mock up and begin to design the beginnings of the project and deliver at least 2 - 5 proof options for the client to choose from. After a proof has been selected we move on to tweaking and finalizing the design. For a web design, the process is very similar except we work from a design idea to build a solid proof, rather than delivering multiple options.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied at the Academy of Art University, earning a BFA in Animation and VFX focusing on Storyboarding. AKA - I draw and design a lot. Layout design is my life. I also completed a graphic design internship in LA where I worked directly under my mentor in a print shop so I have a thorough understanding of print design work.
