GoodSpeak is a language instruction company- for women, by women- providing high-quality, professional, in-home language instruction and tutoring for women (and girls 12-years-old and older), in the greater Seattle area. We teach English as a Second Language (ESL), Reading & Writing and other major languages- let us know what language you need! At GoodSpeak we understand this and have created several creative, effective short-term programs designed to meet specific needs with concentrated effort, for a short amount of time. We know your time and money are very important. Short-term options give you *choices*. ~Custom-built programs. We teach languages to meet *your* needs and goals. Practical language learning. We spend time discussing and planning these goals with you. We carefully choose the appropriate materials and resources to help you achieve the outcome you want and help you commit. Custom-built programs make language learning very effective. ~Comfort. We make language learning very *comfortable* for you by going to your home and providing women instructors. ~Quality. I'm from Brazil, so English isn't my first language. I moved here with my husband and I needed an extra help with English, especially because I want to become a lawyer in America. I needed a native teacher who could help me, give me tips that I can't find on books, and fight with me on this big challenge! Then, I found Good Speaking and I love to have private lessons in my home, so I don't need to drive and to get the traffic, and I can also choose the best hour and day for me. It's being a great experience, I have a lot of books to work on, I received a plan according to my goals and every difficult that I feel with the studies, I know they are there to help me. They also helped me looking for volunteers jobs and a way that I could practice more my speaking. They just want the best for you and to help you reaching your goals. I'm learning a lot of things that I've never studied before, they rock!

I have lessons with my teacher for 4 month. My purpose is a sharpening my speaking and writing abilities in English, and gets rid of my Russian accent. Rebecca is an excellent conversationalist and a sensitive teacher who can adapt well to the needs of the student! I like the relaxed atmosphere of our terms and we have so much in common! ~Olga

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Choices, Choices! At GoodSpeak, we offer choices in addition to the traditional weekly lessons. Please read about our short-term and long-term options on our website. ...but just in case you're curious right now, we offer programs ranging from $199-$1,100, with traditional weekly lessons at $55/week- that's for lessons IN your home!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
*How it Works* We direct you to our website, where you will click on the Enroll page and fill out the student application. Once processed, we'll contact you and get some more information from you. Then we match you with one of our great teachers! We'll let you know when we've confirmed with one of our teachers and she will call you within two business days. Then the two of you will review what program you would like and your information and set up a day/time for your first lesson. You will then receive an email from Schedulicity, which you will click on and create a free user account in order to schedule and pay. At your first lesson, your teacher will test you so she can better understand your language level. She will also go over what your goals are and if there is time, go over some of the possibilities for books etc. Your teacher will help you refine your goals and commit and will create a plan for you to make that happen! We offer a variety of programs to make your dreams a reality. Don’t be afraid to try different programs! Do as much as you can, when you can, by staying flexible with our program options.

Our women teachers are the highest quality and we are determined to bring your target language alive for you and provide you with a supportive, friendly, and genuine teacher experience. Through this teacher experience, you will find a supportive person to walk with you through your language learning experience. At GoodSpeak, we know how critical it is to have the right teacher. High-quality teachers. Dedicated, energetic, professional teachers. We have them! All of our teachers are native English speakers or fluent in the foreign language they speak, and have a certificate to teach English and one year experience or at least two years of general teaching experience.
