I met Danielle through a mutual friend at work and was at a wonderfully new place in my life to be comfortable in front of a camera. And Danielle made that experience so personal and unique. Danielle is an absolute dream to work with and I can't recommend her enough. Her images alone read like poetry. She has a way of finding ethereal qualities in people, capturing portraits in a way that reflect her subjects with sincerity and beauty. Her photographs make you feel like she really wants to find the essence of her subject, to really understand them in a way that feels truthful and candid. Danielle has a way of putting anyone in front of her camera perfectly at ease. I was nervous the first time she photographed me, but that faded within seconds when our session felt like going for a walk with a dear friend I've known for years. She made it feel so casual, easy, and fun that I almost felt unaware of being photographed. And when I saw the photos for the first time, I couldn't help but think, "these feel like me". Hire her. Danielle worked with us in a way that allowed our natural state of being to be captured perfectly. We were directed to get the shots we wanted without any awkward poses or excessive managing. She's so talented, it was by far he most comfortable experience I've ever had in front of a camera. We will absolutely be working with her again! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices start at around $250 for portrait photography, sometimes plus a travel fee, depending on where we're going for photos!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Let's get to know each other! Write to me with questions, concerns and ideas! I'm always happy to set up a phone chat, too. I request a 50% deposit to book your date, and the final payment will be due the day before your photo session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been photographing weddings, couples, families, and lovely humans for five years now! I taught myself and also learned from other photographers: I've had some of the most wonderful teachers.
