- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing for event florals is job specific. Flower prices range based on season, type of flower, and the details of the job. I work with every customer to provide a quote based on the needs of their wedding or event.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask a lot of questions so I can provide the most detailed quote. I want to know about your wedding, your budget, your vision, and what likes and dislikes you have. After that I do research on the flowers that will be in season, pricing, and several style options to see what you like best.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been an event manager since college and worked managing large fundraising events for non-profits. Through the event industry I started working for local florists, training with theses florists, and also managing weddings on the side. My love for floral design was born from this. I now do floral design part-time and love working with new customers.
