Kate Fanger Mediation

Introduction: KATE FANGER has been mediating professionally since 2008 and opened Kate Fanger Mediation (KFM) in Somerville in 2010. KFM provides a variety of services including divorce mediation, conflict/ communication coaching, marriage mediation, elder mediation, professional mentoring, and communication coaching for parents & teens. She is a former vice president on the Board of the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation, and a former Editor of the Family Mediation Quarterly, (FMQ) for which she also authored a column on language: “How Can You Say That?” a topic she also offers as a workshop. I enjoy the creative problem-solving mediation requires, and being a resource for families in transition, setting them up to thrive as their family situations change and evolve. Often facilitated conversations lead to clients being able to craft individual solutions that are more flexible than those achieved through traditional legal approaches.
