- How did you get started doing this type of work?
6 years ago I adopted Blitz. i was told he was a German Shepherd and was quickly corrected by a vet that he is a hybrid. I was told to keep him away from children and that he would never get along with other animals. I couldn't stand to think this happy little puppy wouldn't get to make friends! I spent the next several years working with behaviorists and studying positive training techniques. I now have a lovely, friendly 6 year old Blitz Dog. He loves my nephews and cuddles with the cats. In my endeavors I met other pet owners who were given bad training advice and ended up with fearful or aggressive dogs. I wanted to help. so here I am.
