For the past 8 years I have worked in public accounting and health insurance finance in a variety of positions including auditing, controllership and pricing. All of these positions have contributed to my professional growth by strengthening and developing my skills and competencies. In August 2016, I decided to branch out and start my own bookkeeping business. I personally believe that a great bookkeeper must have a positive outlook, be hard-working, detail-oriented, organized and able to multi-task. Most importantly, they need to be personable and caring, taking an interest in your business as well as you as a person! I am all these things and more. I have all the technical accounting knowledge needed to complete the job, but I also bring a set of soft skills to the role. I also have skills that span beyond technical accounting and bookkeeping and venture into finance. Need help with budget vs. actuals analysis? I can help with that! How about creating financial statements or a forecast? I can help with that too! Need help translating the financial mumbo-jumbo into layman terms that you can actually use to execute your business strategy? I'm the girl for the job! My business acumen paired with my financial skills will make me an asset to your company. I enjoy working in the details, investigating to find errors or missed information and helping business owners understand their finances so that they can grow their business.
