FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I bid jobs based on $20 per person per hour. That seems to be a fair and very competitive price. These are hours actually worked!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first order of business when speaking with a new customer (or potential customer) is to get as much information as I can from them in regards to what they need to get done and in what time frame. I will take detailed notes, and whenever possible, prefer to look at the home first-hand with the customer before beginning any cleaning project or setting up a regular cleaning schedule. I will discuss with the customer specifics of length of time for the cleaning and how many people (myself plus perhaps other workers) are required. Once we have agreed on the services, price, and any other details such as specific cleaning products to be used, we will set up a day and time that I will mark in my calendar.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have no formal training in cleaning, but have ran the business and been the primary cleaner since 2012.
