Introduction: I've been a professional disc jockey and karaoke host for over 20 years. During that time, I have entertained at well over 1,000 events ranging from weddings, Sweet 16's and proms all the way to birthday and anniversary parties, backyard and block parties. Each event I perform at is unique because it is YOUR event. I play the music YOU and your guests want to hear. My completely digital library contains over 200,000 tracks from the 1940's up to the latest and greatest, covering all genres. My karaoke catalog (also completely digital) contains over 130,000 unique tracks (not counting duplicates) so everybody has the chance to find the perfect song to sing. Rather than use songbooks (which would be over 1,000 pages) my entire catalog is online, accessible via smartphone or computer. Furthermore, all of my equipment is professional grade, and kept in road cases and other protective gear. You will never see wires hanging from my rig -- every single wire is hidden from view of your guests and secured to reduce any risk of injury. EVERYTHING is up to you -- this is your day, not mine. The best thing about my job is knowing that I made my client's special event that much more special. As years go by, people will forget how good the food was, how nice the reception hall was, or how everybody was dressed. What people will remember is how much of a good time they had. Knowing that I had a small part in creating that experience is truly the best part of my job.

DJ Pat was fantastic. Very professional & so much fun. I would highly recommended him for a party. He was very easy to work with and got back to me right away. It was a fabulous event and he certainly had a lot to do with it.

DJ Pat was awesome. I just used him for my daughter's 13th birthday party. He was super responsive, wrote me a long detailed note, and delivered on every promise. He showed up on time and effortlessly handled 20 screaming 13 year old girls (and several shrieking parents) for hours and had every song they could possibly want. My wife and I would use him again without hesitation.

My pricing depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, date and time of the event, travel time, and duration of the event.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For any customer, I want to know everything I can do to make your special day even more special. Whether that includes music requests, specific traditions, or games for the children (or adults!) at your event, I want to know about it.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Special events should be as special as possible. There are MANY MANY people who claim to be professional DJ's, but will show up at your event with a pair of iPods, mismatched speakers, and wires everywhere. Remember that a true professional is going to cost more than a "bedroom DJ". Experience working with different types of clients and crowds is paramount -- there is no substitute for experience.
