FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer hourly rates or a fixed price depending on the project and customer preference. Each project is negotiable.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we review the customers needs. Next, we discuss possible solutions including the work required, along with a time and cost estimate for each one. During this discussion, I related my experience with other customers with similar needs including the benefits they experienced. Finally, we work out a price and a delivery date.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a four year degree in accounting and 35 years of experience as a practicing CPA. I have been a CFO, a controller, a budget analysis and an auditor. I am well versed with many accounting software packages including QuickBooks. Along the way I learning database design and programming, building software tools to assist my clients with a vast assortment of recording keeping requirements including accounting, fundraising, asset management, etc. Some data systems were large, some very small and simple to streamline repetitive tasks and reduce labor costs. Currently, I work with a number of clients providing accounting support which includes all the basic functions--Payroll, Accounts Payable & Receivable, Bank Reconciliations, Financial Reporting, etc.
