FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge by the form. A more complex form will have a higher price attached to it. For example. Our short form starts at $70, and the long form starts at $90, and the preparation fee goes up from there with complexity. Our fees are typically 30% less than those of the big box stores.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A client will mail, drop off, or bring their tax documents to a scheduled appointment. We then prepare their return. The return will be set aside if we have additional questions. Once we get the questions answered, we will print out the return for the taxpayer to review.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an Enrolled Agent (EA), licensed by the IRS. We have annual continuing education requirements, just like any other regulated profession. Additionally, I attend training almost annually and constantly read publications to stay current on tax news and trends.
