I can't say enough about PC Rescue, I would rate them 6 stars out of 5 stars. My computer didn't show anything but a blue screen. Eric said he could save everything on it, but also thought it was a goner. He gave me great advice on the type of new computer we should shop for to meet our needs. Two days later he called and said he it had taken it completely apart and had gotten it up and running. It worked great. I had Windows Vista, but he removed it and upgraded me to Windows 7. When we picked the computer up it looked brand new. It was so clean inside and out. I had Geek Squad for several years and never received it back looking like this. I would definitely recommend PC Rescue to everyone who needs electronic repairs. Eric I'd definitely a customer pleaser. Top notch!!

The Worlds Greatest Computer Expert Lives Right Here In Tampa, Florida !!!!!!! Reading this now you are becoming one of the luckiest people on this planet! Not only are you going to get the worlds greatest computer repair man to help you through your needs, you will be getting someone in the field that actually cares about you! Yes, someone who is actually thinking about what is best for your computer but also you get an expert who will help you understand what is needed in your situation. From the minute that you either meet Eric Margolis by bringing your computer into his shop, or you get the pleasure of speaking to him on the phone you will instantly like him. I was so surprised that he would come to my home pick up my computer and ask me what kind of time frame I had as to needing it back! I have never had such great service nor have I had someone take the time to explain to me what was wrong! Erica Margolis is very thorough and gets into the details in what I call human language. I am not a techno-person but Eric certainly is. With 25 years of experience in the field as well as multiple years at NASA how could you possibly go wrong trusting him with your computer repair? My computer was a mess. It finally died. With all the garbage on it, along with an old out-dated Windows XP program, my computer was doomed to fail a long time ago. Thank God I found Eric because he was fearless when he took it away. I knew instinctively I had found the best person to help me. Within a very short time I received a phone call from Eric explaining what needed to be done and why etc. He made it easy for me to understand and went above and beyond the call of duty to not only rescue my computer and all its contents but by doing so that in turn rescued me! I use my computer daily to make a living so it was very important to me to get it back in tip top condition! Eric went out of his way to bring my PC back and then spent time with me explaining what and where things are, where to look etc. He installed all types of Protective programs on my computer for me. Now it is tighter than Fort Knox! No one will ever hack into my computer! I am thrilled with the work that Eric Margolis did and I highly recommend him. Not only is Eric reasonable with the repair charges etc, he is a lovely person as well. Erics work comes with a money back guarantee! I think most of us have forgotten what that is ?????? Lol !!!! I would like to comment on my experience getting my PC laptop repaired by PC Rescue of Tampa. A while back, I needed a new screen for my laptop and emailed Thumbtack to see what competitive price I could get. After reviewing the quotes, I selected PC Rescue of Tampa and was very happy I did. I met Eric, the owner when he came to pick up my computer where I work. He went out of his way to pick it up. He had quoted me the best price and picked up the computer on top of it. With the heavy traffic in the area, I really appreciated that. He said it would take about a week to get the screen and install it. In two days he called me to tell me it was ready to be picked up. I was a little skeptical seeing he picked up the computer, had the best price and fixed it in record time. On top of that, he brought it back to me at my home. I could not wait to see if the screen worked. It did work and it is very clear and bright. I have had the computer back now for a few weeks and the screen works perfectly. I can’t recommend highly enough hiring Eric at PC Rescue in Tampa.

The hard drive on my home office desktop computer crashed. I contacted Thumbtack to locate a professional computer repair expert in my area, and within an hour received at least six offers to help me. However, my eye was drawn to Eric Margolis of PC Rescue Tampa, LLC, because of his detailed and comprehensive offer. I also went on to other websites, including Yelp, to read customer reviews about Eric, and came away more than satisfied that "he was the guy for my job." I called Eric on a Saturday afternoon, explained my situation, and Eric came to my place immediately. The news was not good: the hard disk was shot (94% corrupted, as it turned out). Eric spent well into that evening replacing the hard drive, replacing my operating system (exactly the way I wanted it!), and recovering my seemingly-lost data. While on that visit, I mentioned that my mother's laptop was also incredibly slow due to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10, and Eric took this with him and returned it a day-and-a-half later with Windows 7 re-installed and all her data files logically ordered; it now operates "lightning" fast! Eric followed up on his second visit to reconnect two printers to my desktop, installing new drivers and the latest software updates. Eric's last visit was this weekend to import some critical data files that he had found (on a second pass) and cleaning up and logically ordering my desktop icons. After he and I were sure that we had gotten virtually everything back onto my computer that was there before the crash, Eric deleted all my data files from his back-up drives while I looked on, giving me peace of mind. It was a long, nerve-wracking, and tiring experience for both of us (over 20 hours on 3 visits at my place and more time at his lab), but Eric got it done very well and successfully. What I liked most about working with Eric is that his solutions are conservative and "old-school," meaning he prefers simplicity over the latest "bells and whistles." As he explained to me, he does not want to add "layers and layers" of unnecessary software that will slow down the machine. He wants his customer to be happy with the result. In my case, I couldn't be happier! Eric is fun to work with, incredibly patient, very prompt with his appointments, and very reliable (e.g., he even e-mailed me a link to improve a MS Office function AFTER he had finished fixing my computer, just as he said he would, asking for feedback if a newer update was available)! Sitting along side him while he works, you know immediately that he really "knows his stuff," his 25 years of hands-on experience really shine through. He will explain what he is doing and even tutor you with how to do things correctly if you don't know or don't understand something. With Eric, it's not about money (his fees are very, very reasonable) or rushing through the job. You get the sense he really loves what he does and, more importantly, that he truly enjoys helping his customer. Bottom line: I would highly-recommend Eric Margolis of PC Rescue Tampa to anyone in the Tampa Bay, FL, area who has any kind of computer problem or issue! I will definitely recommend him to all my business clients and personal friends from now on!
