Jacqui Hodson, There has clearly been a misunderstanding. You posted an ad for having your hard drive wiped due to you forgetting your password. Less than two minutes later I submitted a Thumbtack quote giving you my price for this service. You immediately replied that “you were going a different route". I took this as you had changed your mind? I then communicated with you in a respectful manner to educate you that technicians like myself have to pay $$$ to send quotes to customers. I then stated that there is only two ways to resolve your problem. Either do a password reset or wipe your hard drive clean and reinstall windows. This was not meant to be nasty but to help you and educate you how Thumbtack works. What really is not a very nice thing to do is to state that you hired me when you clearly stated you hired someone else and then leave me a negative review. I have over 67 five star reviews from very happy customers. So just maybe? You are having a bad day? I am glad that you hired another Thumbtack person more affordable to your budget.
