If you want the job done right, on time and on budget hire Jake. I am a real customer who has used Jake on many projects, this is a real unbiased review and the only review I have written for anyone.
Jake has worked with me on a number of houses over the past two years and I only have positive things to say about him - you get a quality job every time, no hassles or coming back for bs "extras" or excuses with Jake, which is more than I can say for anyone else I found - Jake may or may not be more expensive than others who bid your job but you are going to get your job done right and on time with Jake so even if someone underbids jake, they may be much more expensive or take much longer in the end, you get what you pay for.
Initially when I looked for people to work on my houses, I ran into many folks with no references, no business skills, violent crimes on their records and yea yea promises to get everything done asap. I unfortunately learned the hard way when people ran off with my money or did very poor work that only needed to be redone or took six months on a six week job to redo a kitchen and bathroom.
Jake was recommended to me by someone else who had used him on a very high end bathroom but he and his team can do most everything or they he will tell you that he needs to bring in a specialist, for things like taking up an entire floor or drywalling an entire house. I was sceptical of recommendations because they are always positive and I was let down over and over - I am writing because Jake did not disappoint me and has gone the extra mile to do everything right on numerous occasions. To my surprise, he actually cares unlike everyone else I met who has probably been in the industry too long. There have been many times where he spent the extra time and initiative to call me when something I suggested just did not look right or he would do more than expected because "it was just the right thing to do", there was a lot of extra sanding on custom window sills that we did not discuss or plan on but he did it because it was needed to make the house look good (he has taken down walls and put up new walls for me, he is great when it comes to cutting and laying bathroom tile - I got very annoyed with others when my bathroom tiles were not straight and did not line up perfectly so Jake came in and redid the whole bathroom correctly and found that the other tile guys had not used enough grout on the tiles so they were going to crack and fall off eventually.
Unlike many others, Jake is very professional in his bids, which he spends a lot of time on because he wont increase prices part way through the job like others. Jake and his team show up early, work hard throughout the day and I have no concerns leaving them in my house or with my family unattended..
Jake has a small team of very high quality, nice and hard working guys working with him. I can go on and on but I think you get the point by now. Hire Jake if you want your job done right.

Glen did an amazing job for us. He was professional and so very wise about types of paint. He had been painting for over 30 years and you can tell. His work is amazing and would use them again for our next projects.
