- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing is dependent upon the project/event. Adults: Full Face: $40-60 Half Face/Mask: $25-40 Children: Full Face: $30-45 Half Face/Mask: $20-30 Pricing is based on detail of the desired look. Additional cost for FX, Rhinestones or applique. _________________________ Photo/Video Shoots: (Glam, Abstract, Commercial Print, Body/Face Paint, Maternity/Family Portraits, Graduation or Prom) Single Model: $55 Full Face (additional $5 for Lashes) Half Day Rate (Up to 3 hrs) $145 2-3 Looks Full Day Rate (Up to 8hrs) $220 4-5 Looks (Pricing above is for Single Model shoots, for group rates please contact directly to discuss project and pricing. All Photo/Video Shoot appointments must be book with 72hr prior to event or additional fee may be included. These are service packages I provide with specific pricing, however, if provided a budget we can discuss personalizing a package for your unique wedding experience. Packages are to paid via invoice after our consultation, down payment is required to secure all bridal bookings. A.) Bride to Be Package: Includes full face makeup for the Bride to Be for the following events Bridal/Engagement Party, Bachelorette Party, and Bridal Photos. $300 B.) Wedding Day (Invoice must be paid in full 48hrs prior to event date) Bridal Party (Includes Bride, 4 Bridesmaids, Mother of Bride) $630+ Bride: $150 Mother of Bride: $80 Bridesmaids: $100/ea Flower Girl: $50
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You can expect prompt responses to you inquiries, pleasant and professional demeanor and quality work. I aim to please! When booking an appointment with a new client I often ask the client to provide reference/inspiration photo of the makeup or face paint look they wish to achieve so that we can visually be on the same page. This also assists me in providing professional and constructive feedback to achieve the best results for the client. I am very creative and open to new ideas, I also take direction very well on sight when working with photographers and directors.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I am an ambitious 26 years young and home grown Phoenician. I grew on the west side of Phoenix in a smaller city of Avondale with my parents and brothers. Growing up was awesome! I had all the support I could ask for and then some. I've always had a joy for art and knew that no matter what career field I found myself, there would be a creative component. At a young age I would paint and doodle daily. By high school I had taken a liking to photography, painting and graphic design. Eventually, those artistic talents led me to creating Faces By Amelia Cosmetic Designs, something I've been very passionate about growing over these last few years. As a Phoenix native I am very much inspired by our street art, beautiful mountain scenery and southwestern culture. All of these inspirations are a representation of myself, as well as depicted in my artistry.
