I believe that our relationships with other people make us who we are and as Gottman says, "The quality of your life is the quality of your relationships". Sometimes in life we have great role models who teach us how to nurture relationships, respect ourselves, be vulnerable and love others. And then sometimes, we need a little help navigating the external pressures and experiences that we all face which tend to impact our core beings. The work we do together will be active and problem solving. We will determine what the problem is and how to get you to a better place. The therapy is engaging while we create a partnership to create the life you aspire.

I was a foster mom for the last four years. Which means I had to deal with many therapist coming to my home. I felt like none of them were helping. At all. Until I met Nicole. Let me tell you, if you have an opportunity to choose her, don't hesitate. She is amazing. She has a soft calm demeanor about her. She has an absolute sweetheart. But don't let her cute good looks for you, she is highly intelligent, she would tell me things I never had thought of, or looked at it in that way. She helped me to make one of the biggest decisions of my life. Which was to adopt my foster child. I am so grateful to her. Even though I am older than her, her knowledge far exceeds me. She was also extremely helpful, anything I ever had a question with, the very next time we would meet she would have articles or books or videos that I could watch or read to help me further better my situation. I could go on and on, the fact is, she is amazing, try her out!!!! Jenny

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

The family unit is society’s oldest and most resilient institution. From the beginning of human life, people have grouped themselves into families to find emotional, physical and collective support. Despite family structures varying around the world, Nicole believes that the family unit is one of the most undervalued social forces of the 21st Century. The family unit is the foundation – shaping our core beliefs and giving us the endurance to face life’s challenges. To better understand the impact that family has on an individual, Nicole focused her work on gaining clinical experience with different facets of the family unit. Working with children and teenagers in a school based therapeutic setting, Nicole has clinical experience supporting those with issues of self-esteem, anxiety, depression, anger management, trauma, and family dynamics. Nicole continued her work with children and families specifically struggling with the impact of trauma, abuse, disorganized attachment, parenting, and emotional regulation. Nicole received specialized training working with foster families, adoptive families and kinship caretakers in a family service agency. With the family unit as the forefront, Nicole’s passion begins with the couple in premarital and marital counseling. Nicole draws from emotional focused therapy and Gottman’s method to work with couples presenting with issues of intimacy, infidelity, depression, trauma, emotional intelligence, trust and commitment.
