Farwa is extremely talented!! I remember showing her what I wanted done and asked her to change a thing or two, and she couldn’t have done a better job! After our hour session she gave me sugar water to take home and specifics on how to get the most vibrant henna! :) overall a great experience at a great cost!! If you are looking for quality work, look no more! She’s GREAT!! Unfortunately I don’t have a picture to put up but I was able to upload a video of her work on yelp!

I recently got married and had a Hindu ceremony as part of my wedding. In honor of tradition, Farwa came to my home two days before the wedding for Mehndi, where she did bridal henna on my hands and feet, as well as henna for my family members. She also came to my rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding to do henna for our wedding guests. Her work is exquisite! She is extremely talented, quick, and easy to work with. My in-laws are Indian and have a lot of experience with henna artists. They had many high compliments to share about Farwa, including how finely detailed her work is, which they said is very hard to find! Thank you, Farwa, for your beautiful work on my special day. I only wish my henna could have lasted for months! I'd definitely book Farwa again when the occasion arises!

Farwa is the only Henna artist in Los Angeles that I'd trust! She uses natural henna, her designs are GORGEOUS and she can even copy any design you throw at her. She is an incredible artist (outside of henna) and it really shows in her work. Her detailed art is so mesmerizing and beautiful, you will not be disappointed. I always get amazing, long-lasting stains, and I've even taken friends to her too. I've found that most other "henna artists" in LA use fake henna that doesn't last long at all, and their art/designs are bulky/shaky or just terrible. Farwa is the ONLY ONE I'd recommend. Plus, she's so much fun to hang out with while she does your henna.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do offer 20% off to the first time clients . I charge per hour ( minimum 2 hours of hiring ) for parties/events .Travel fee may apply depending upon location .
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Batchelor degree in Fine arts BFA and Masters in Painting from Cal state Northridge.My other expertise is miniature painting in medium gouache.Doing make up is also something that always excites me .I am certified make up artist from Los Angeles make up school now AIMD ( American institute of make up art and design).
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been a creative person since childhood . I started doing henna as a teenager about 20 years ago . I used to enjoy spending hours and creating different styles for family , friends and brides . Having degree in arts give me an edge in conceiving and creating what my clients bring to me . Its gives me immense pleasure when my client is satisfied and happy :) .
