Introduction: I have a Masters Degree in Counseling Depth Psychology and trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist in California. Depth Psychology is the branch of psychology that believes the "unconscious" plays just as important and powerful a role in our lives, as our conscious mind does, so learning what it has to say can be very useful in helping people understand themselves and their lives better. I have over ten years of experience counseling people using my expertise in symbolism, archetypes, dream interpretation, Jungian psychology and using a more Eastern, Yin/Yang approach in my work. I believe balance is what we all are seeking and finding it can help relieve anxiety, stress, depression and other issues that effect so many people in our culture today. I am passionate about helping people understand their relationships - both their outer ones, and the way those mirror their inner relationship to themselves as well. I am immensely curious and compassionate about people's stories, and love helping them learn to accept and embrace who they are. Most people have a very harsh inner critic, and I find great satisfaction in helping my clients learn to turn that critical voice into a more supportive and encouraging one.
