Welding work was adequate. Adam stated the job would be $120 for the 4 minor items on my list and he could complete all in 2 hours for $120. His was bid was $30 less than other welders on Thumbtack.
He completed 2 out of 4 items (welding 2 broken mounts on my security doors and screwing a piece of screening on the lower half of one gate) at my home then said he had to leave and that he was charging $145 for the 2 jobs completed and he would be back to do the rest for another $100. I paid him the $145 as I did not want any controversy or trouble from him.
Would never hire him again. I will now have to start all other again with bids. Hopefully getting an honest person who will not "PLAY ME" with false bids.

What Maryann failed to recognize was that I never guaranteed that I could finish all 4 jobs she needed done, when I arrived at her home I was greeted by her husband who was very nice and basically showed me the priorities at hand which I then proceeded to fix. He was pleased with my work and understood fully that the reason my price increased was because he wanted me to replace a badly damaged wire mesh on an outdoor gate with a proper piece of security screen material to keep their dogs in the yard. I actually had to leave the jobsite to get the new material and made it very clear that I would have to charge $25 extra for the new material. The prices for my work do not include new material costs, and as far as the other jobs I didn't finish for her was due to a lack of new materials needed for the repairs to be done properly.

I had numerous pictures to be hung at my home and Adam arrived on time, was professional, helped me with placement on some of the pics and I was charged a price I could afford. I would definitely hire him again for anything I need done around my home.
