FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically work through a retainer system per hourly basis. A retainer is a fee paid in advance to me in order to secure or keep my services which essentially acts like a secured credit card against which I log my hours against. On very clearly defined projects, I also develop fixed pricing, but those come with considerable restrictions. Either way, I will always deliver high-quality work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Listening to their needs is the most important step in the process. Once their needs have been assessed, an action plan will be put into place. I typically start with a phone or in-person conversation for me to fully understand exactly what your needs are. I begin by asking key questions to get an idea what you will need from me as a designer. Based on the picture you've discussed with me, I will provide a full proposal that lays out in details the deliverables, cost, and turn-around time. Lastly, I strive to build a solid relationship that can open up doors for future business together.
