FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $115.00 per hour for my time. For extended projects, I am willing to negotiate a 10-15% retainer discount after the first 3 months.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After the initial inquiry, I work directly with the client to understand their goals, needs and timeline. I provide a quote based on the hours estimated to fulfill the expectations of the client. During the course of the project, I communicate actively with the client to understand if there are changes to their goals, and I ensure they are up-to-date on milestone completion and notified if any unforeseen risks arise. Upon finalizing the project, I show the final product to the client and give the client the opportunity to request final tweaks as necessary.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from MIT. There I studied the fundamentals of engineering necessary for Product Design and Development as well as Engineering Leadership as a part of the co-curricular MIT-Gordon Engineering Leadership Program. I have also managed many projects in both low and high volume manufacturing environments. My project management and design skills are critical for completing top-quality client work on-time, and meeting or exceeding the goals of the client.
