Just want to comment on how pleased I was with the plumbing service I received recently from Walid Ahmadzai of A&Z Plumbing.
Walid was called upon to repair a leak we had in the attic space above our laundry room. It was a very difficult task since access to the water pipes needed a ladder to climb through an opening in the ceiling…once up in the attic space, again, access to the leak was a challenge. A pipe connection sprung a leak and was spraying water all over. Walid performed the necessary repairs and was very thorough in the process.
He was on-time and his fees were reasonable and fair.
Walid is an accomplished Plumber and he is a very polite person [which is why I decided to hire him]. He told me that “everyone needs to be treated with respect.” This factor was important to both of us.
I definitely plan to employ Walid again in the near future and I highly recommend Walid for any plumbing service.

Wally's Plumbing
I put in an order request that was confirmed by Thumbtack at 10:07 this morning. By 3:30 the plumber hadn’t showed up. When I contacted Wally’s plumbing, I was informed they never accepted the job. Well something is definitely wrong here, when a customer waits all day, only to find out at the end of the day, the plumber didn’t accept the job. I suppose the job was too small for them but why do I have to suffer as a customer.
I was later told, they would see what they could do but I heard nothing. It’s now 4:56pm and I’m in the same situation I was in at 10:00 this morning.
This is just bad business. I’m so disappointed in Wally’s plumbing and Thumbtack.

Nick's Quick Fix
Nick was very quick to respond to my request and was able to come to my house within a day. After the assessment, he described what needs to be done to install a double vanity and replace my single one. Ha did a great job for a good price and gave me some suggestions how to update some other things in my bathroom. I highly recommend Nick - I'm sure gonna call him again if I need plumbing help!

URV Projects Plumbing Service
Hi, I contacted this plumbing company after waiting all day for another company, who didn’t bother to contact me (later saying they didn’t do that type of work).
I explained the same situation to URV company but they still managed to get someone to my house early the next morning.
The technician came out, he was very friendly, professional and patient. He determined it was Heating/Air unit, and did not even charge me a service fee. Now that’s outstanding customer service. Because of this, not only will I use them the next time I need a plumber but, I will highly recommend them to others.
I sent two companies the exact same info and one didn’t bother to contact me at all, after thumbtack notified me that the appointment was made with them, and URV, who at the end of the day was able to send someone out on their very first appointment of the day.
Communication is paramount in any excellent organization.
