- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Hosting packages are billed either monthly or annually, and if you go the annual route I throw in a free month to thank you for a little less bookkeeping. For services billed hourly, I offer a discount to Non-profit organizations, as well as our hosting clients.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Website hosting can cover a huge range of needs, so it is vital for me to understand what will be required to not only keep your specific website operating at its fullest efficiency, but also prevent potential problems down the road. Once I have a good understanding of what you need, I like to offer some options for moving forward and go from there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I personally have nearly 20 years of professional experience building, troubleshooting, and maintaining websites in all shapes and sizes, with a focus on Non-Profits and small businesses. If there is something that can go wrong with a website, chances are I have encountered it and have some tricks to avoiding it in the future.
