- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I bought my first computer from Costco (eMachine) in the late 90's. I have since "built, modified, tweaked, repaired, updated, re-fixed" hardware and software ever since. All my friend(s), family, co-workers, etc, have asked me to "fix it, it's broken and I don't know what to do". And I am usually able to fix the problem(s).
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Be as specific as you can when telling/texting/showing the Tech what the problem(s) might be. Examples: Old or new computer, which OS is it running, does it make unusual/noisy/clicking/etc sounds?
