FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing can vary, depending on the complexity of a case. For example, an uncontested family matter can be priced at a low set fee, as such cases do not take that much attorney time. A highly contested case will usually be billed hourly as it is unclear how much time and effort will be needed to complete the case, often through trial.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, after meeting a new client, I gather all of the information I need to prepare all needed documents for filing (to initiate or respond to opposing counsel's pleading). I also provide a general rundown to the new client so they know exactly what to expect, what their rights are, and I answer all of their questions so they feel comfortable with the process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am barred in the state of Florida to practice law (since 2005) and I am federally barred in the Southern District of Florida.
