My husband and I recently purchased our first home. Copper Mtn Contracting came out and fixed our sprinkler system. I felt that they were very knowledgeable about the work they were doing. They fixed the sprinklers and got them all working. We could turn them all on manually, but they did not fix the electrical/wiring portion of the job so we could not use the box to turn them on (it was going to be an additional expense to have them do that). However, I later spoke with a friend in our neighborhood who is a landscaper about our experience, and what work was done and how much we paid ($1200) and he was blown away by the cost. He said he would have charged half that to do the same amount of work and would have fixed the electrical connections too. I guess I should have got a second opinion. Also, they said they would come back and put grass seed on the portion of the lawn that they dug up, but have not been back to do this. We've asked them at least three times to come back and do that and they still haven't prioritized it. It's a little thing, but after all the money we paid them I feel like it's the least they could do.

I am truly sorry we have not been back to put the topsoil and seed down. however the price we did that job for was a very competitive bid. the reason the price was %1200 was because we also had to fix the leaking stop and waste. I remember telling you up front that the sprinkler wire was a mess, exposed in several spots and I could not guarantee it would work. running new wire to each valve would take a lot of labor hours.
Ma'am, I am truly sorry we have not been back to put the topsoil down. I will make sure it's done by end of the week.

I should have done my homework before hiring Copper Mtn. Contracting. Dave was initially very helpful and coordinated a job to fix some valves on my sprinkler system as well as go over every sprinkler head in my system to make sure they were working/spraying correctly.
I went out of town while they completed the job, and paid them $485 dollars for the service, after an initial fee of $65 to check the whole system. Upon my return there were several dead patches in my lawn, many of the heads were still non-functional, spraying incorrectly and there was a huge leak from a pipe that was running water down the side of my yard every time that zone came on.
I called and texted Dave to schedule a return visit but he never responded to my calls. Feeling frustrated, I had my brother-in-law call him and he answered and said they could come back to fix things the following Monday at 9:00 am. They never came. I have since called and texted him with no response and am left to repair these problems on my own.
I was widowed a year ago and am raising our four children on my own and hired Dave to come and do this work that I am not in a position to do by myself. I have never written a negative review, but feel in this instance so dissatisfied with their service that I hope others avoid doing business with this company for the same type of results.

They came up with a better, more cost effective way of fixing our problem and completed the work quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend this company.

The initial contact and quote coordination was good. Fair quote. Agreed on date for project. Left meeting expecting job to get done as scheduled. Unfortunately they never showed up. Even after giving them grace and contacting by app, text, phone --asking if they needed to switch days etc. there was no communication. They just failed to communicated or have the respect to cancel/decline the job. That to me is terrible service.

We were happy with Copper Mtn from start to finish. They were friendly and worked hard to get it done. We are very pleased with the finished project and would hire them again. We would recommend them.
