- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually charge $75.00 to $100.00 per hour depending on the type of event. I require a $100.00 deposit (non-refundable)or retainer fee to save the date. I will tailor a package if a customer requests the use of wireless microphones, lighting, etc...
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually contact the client via telephone, introduce and tell them a little about myself, my company and the services I offer. Try to ascertain what type of budget will be allotted for the services requested.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have no formal education in music; however, I am college educated (former educator). I've always enjoyed music as a hobby, I've worked as a dj since the early 90's to help finance my way through school. I have attended seminars and conferences. I like to make sure my equipment is up to date and that I'm current with new trends and the latest music.
