And of course our reputation is what we make it. So doing the best we can on every job to accomplish satisfaction is our main priority. I needed someone to clean my house due to my recent back surgery. I am limited on what I can do at this time. My quote was for $75 for up to 3 hours. I was fine with this quote for a good cleaning as I'm on a strict budget at this moment with not working. At approximately 90 mins, Gloria said she was done, which surprised me. Previous house cleaners have taken a full 3 hours to clean my house. I would have inspected the house prior to her leaving, however, it wouldn't have mattered. She was in a rush to leave to meet her daughter. Right away I could tell my master shower, and inside my bathtub had not been cleaned. My bedroom had been partially dusted, nothing was moved on my dresser. My husband's night stand, and the ceiling fan weren't even touched. The fireplace mantle also wasn't touched. These were the few things I noticed right away. Once again I hired someone to clean because I can't bend do to my surgery. I feel I was taken advantage of, and ripped off. $75 for 90 mins, and an incomplete job is ridiculous. I would have been fine with only 90 mins of cleaning, if the job was adequately done. Instead Gloria chose to do a quick job and take my money. If at least 3 hours couldn't be allotted for the job, it should have been rescheduled. I understand things come up in our lives. Just a fyi, I was quoted $75 for up to 3 hours for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath house, and up to 1500 sq feet as entered on Thubtack. Which she only had to clean 1 bedroom on this day. That means if she's there only 10 mins, she's collecting $75 from you no matter what. I should have been more conscious about that.

My quote was for 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. I actually did 1 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, upper and lower livingrooms, family room , rec area, laundry room, kitchen, dining room, and foyer. I felt I was very fair. It is up to 3 hours on what is quoted, not up to 3 hours on what can get done. I'm very sorry if you felt it was unfair. Is there anything I can do to make it better? You seemed happy when I left, or I would have came back.

I have had good experiences with other cleaners on Thumbtack. But after doing a walk through this was definitely not a deep clean. I hired this cleaner for a deep clean, and it was a light cleaning at best.

I'm sorry you were not happy with the cleaning. You were there and never said anything. I even moved everything away from the walls and scrubbed the floors on my hands and knees. I'm not sure what you felt was wrong, but I would have addressed it before leaving if you would have said something. I don't want to leave any client unhappy. So please, in the future, address this matter with your cleaner.

    I have worked with realtors, cleaning houses getting them ready to sell. Also, we have cleaned for elderly, as well as family households. We really enjoy working with people, so this job suits us well.

    Recently we cleaned and prepared a home being sold. The home had some remodeling done to it, so it also needed the construction debris cleanup. The realtor we worked for was extremely pleasant and appreciative of our work, which made this project very enjoyable.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    My best advice for a customer looking to hire a pro is communication. The customer needs to let the pro know what they are needing done, and what is expected. It will make the whole process go alot smoother.
