I hired Construction Specialties to install pattio pavers for my back pattio. We met once with the owner at the pattio site to scope out the project. He quoted a very reasonable rate. We corresponded through email and phone call which involved his providing to me referral contacts and negotiating timing of deposit. It also included his progress on his sourcing of materials that I chose. I did not have to worry a thing about sourcing, delivery scheduling, etc. The work was very professional as there were two people who performed the installation in a day and beyond my expectation, he wrapped the pattio under my deck stairs to make my pre-designed pattio less awkward at the deck landing. He was very flexible with logistics for final payment. The owner, Tom, is such a stand up guy which is a rare find when it comes to the world of contractors. I recommend him highly for his work

I hired Tom and his crew to put in a 550 square-foot patio with pavers in my backyard. He also did veneers and some treads for my stairs. In addition They built a beautiful retaining wall. I met with about six professionals to quote this project, and Tom's was one of the best. I chose him because he was polite, on time and very interested in the project from an engineering and artistic point of view. He and his crew were amazing, working long days and dealing with some unfortunate weather. They built a patio beyond my expectations--mainly because Tom's input and ideas for materials and scope of work were beyond what I had pictured. He is a craftsman. He and his crew were always smiling and clearly enjoyed working together---a nice vibe when someone is on your property for an extended period of time.
I would highly recommend hiring Tom Donnelly, and I'm sure we will be hiring him again for some additional work on another part of our property in the future.
