FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I realise each client as unique, and so any costs are estimated based on the client's needs and art direction and production required. Similar projects are priced accordingly.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am sensitive to understand the client's desires and goals for any collaboration and photography work. Meaningful collaboration with positive and discerning clients allows the possibility for creative and unique work. Typically, I would like to meet the client first so that we can both be excited and confident about the potential work ahead. From this meeting, ideas and preparations for the photo shoot, which can include design, make-up/style and location, can be tailored for the client's vision. If the client desires a portraiture of herself or someone else, we would discuss the nature of the work (such as modeling headshot or business profile) and plan the shots so that the photographs can meet their purpose.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed my undergraduate degree in visual arts at Duke University in North Carolina. Concurrently during this time, I learned at the Accademia dell'Arte in Arezzo, Italy. I finished my education at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh with a masters degree specialised in art and technology.
