Molding or baseboards,
If you want your project to get done, I would not recommend J. Delullo Company. Almost 2 months ago he came to look at our bathroom that needed painted, tile work, and exhaust fan installed. He said he would have a quote to us in a few days. It took him 3 weeks just to get the quote to us. The price was fair, so we told him we wanted to hire him. After that, he made excuse after excuse for not showing up. He said he should be able to start in a couple weeks, and a month and a half later he finally comes. He remeasured everything and said he would get the supplies and be back the next day. In the morning, he said he was running late because he was fixing a water heater. He never showed up. I asked if he was coming the next day. He said he couldn't. He said he would come the following week and work until the job was finished. He was supposed to be here at 8:30 in the morning. He made another excuse and said it would be at 10:30 instead. He didn't show up again. We have been given excuse after excuse for almost 2 months. I finally told him to just forget it, we will have to find someone else. We wanted the bathroom completed before Christmas, and are very upset that he gave us the run around, and lied to us and made excuses. Would NOT recommend him to anyone.Dec 12, 2016Verified
My offer stated that I was conducting interviews. The possible candidates where already the most likely the one to get the job. Mr. Delullo sent messages he would try and make it a few times. The job was done, he never did show up.Jun 25, 2016Verified
Joe did a great job of painting. He was very neat and clean. But he did not show up when he said he would. He had several excuses for not showing up. To many delays. Not sure if he over booked or what but pushing his start time back three times for over three weeks is not the way to run a business.Oct 1, 2016Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I typically charge $45.00/hour for a service call with a 1 hour minimum charge. But, I always prefer to meet the customer in person and review the project prior to giving an estimate. I believe this gives both the customer and myself a clear understanding of the project scope and expectations.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I typically like to meet a customer in person during the estimating phase instead of providing quotes prior to reviewing the project in person. This allows the customer to ask me questions about my experience and develop a relationship. It also allows for an exchange of ideas prior to providing the proposal that may give the client a better understanding of the work that needs done, the best way to complete it, and the expectations for myself and the client. I provide detailed proposals based on the in-person project review. I communicate clearly with the client regarding the work schedule and any issues that may arise during the installation phase and I provide daily communication with the customer regarding the progress of the project. Our goal is to develop a long term relationship with every customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am formally trained as a journeyman electrician by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. I have worked for nearly 30 years in the construction industry and have experience in plumbing, painting, and general remodeling. I also work in partnership with an experienced Carpenter/Cabinet Maker and Master Plumber. These relationships allow me to offer a very diverse list of services while maintaining control of the quality of each project.
