About this pro

How does your business stand out?

Able Concrete Designs LLC is striving to improve the reputation of all contractors. ACD LLC is always concerned with the home owners needs and wants. We show up promptly when scheduled and excuses are not in our vocabulary.

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

Transforming a person's home is a personal pleasure of mine. The work happens quickly during a concrete pour and seeing the end result just mere hours later is personally gratifying. Our Foreman is a stickler for the smallest of imperfections and strives to leave every project in a broom clean finish.

Thanks Moose and Jason for a great time.  Lots of laughs.  Driveway looks great and it is draining right where you wanted.  Already had some neighbors over, hopefully you will get some work through a great job.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Unfortunately, concrete projects can have a whole host of variables that make a standard price hard to determine. There are steps to the process that most people don't know exist in order to get your concrete project exactly how you envisioned.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First our owner/operator office manager will receive your call. Her name is Amber and she will ask you a bunch of questions and then ask to schedule a time for you to talk with Jason (owner/operator - Field Supervisor). Jason will come at the appointed time and walk through your project with you. If the project is straight forward he may make a formal proposal for you there on the job. If the project has a lot of context, he will bring the notes back to the office for Amber to type up. She will type it up and then email you a formal estimate. Once you accept that estimate, Jason or Amber will call to inform you when the estimated start date will be. Able Concrete Designs focuses on superior customer service.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Jason has been doing concrete since he was 17 years old and graduated from the Job Corps Masonry Program in the late 80s. He then went to work from the ground up at some of the leading Seattle area decorative concrete contractors. Working for these companies for 20 years led him into foreman and supervisor positions.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice is to always go with your gut. Just because an estimate is low does not mean quality is in their mind, just because an estimate is high does not mean they are trying to get over on you. Many times our estimates for scope of work are in the middle because we are not trying to underbid your job nor do we want to charge you too much. Our Owner/Operator is Jason and he strives to save you money where he can.
