- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is no charge for a representative to come out and give you an estimate for a fence. If you require a service call for an automatic gate, there is a $92 service call.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Representatives attend the annual AFA convention and attend training sessions...especially as they relate to Access Control (automatic gates & openers). We have daily training meetings at our office. Often times manufacturers of new products will come in and demonstrate...this is one of the ways we stay on top of the latest innovations in fencing. We take advantage of as many training opportunities as we can throughout the year.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When my wife and I started in 1998, we found there was a gap in the custom fence building industry. We felt that with our backgrounds in customer service, and attention to detail, that we could offer the homeowner a better product than what had previously been on the market.
