Great selection of floor samples. I was able to leave a $20 deposit and take 1/2 dozen samples home to ensure a good match for the existing flooring on the first floor. I worked closely with Robert and Ray to find an almost identical match. If you have a rent house or don't care as much about the aesthetic, they even offer what the manufacturer refers to as "seconds" at a deep discount. All products have either a 25 or 30 year manufacturer's warranty, so you're not sacrificing quality. I believe that flooring started at $1.99 a square foot. While Carpet Close-Outs don't employ installers, they recommended an amazing crew led by Gonsalo. My landing is a little tricky as there was a curve in the carpeting at the bottom stair. The crew member nicknamed "Maestro" did a little carpentry and created a flawless base. He even had me come over and eye-ball the seam to ensure it was perfect. The crew worked tirelessly and quickly. They stopped once for lunch, then took turns taking a small break here and there, but the work never ceased. They were meticulous and cleaned up as they went along. We had one small issue where they ran out of stair nose to finish all the stairs. I think during estimating they didn't count the landing stairs, so we were short enough stair nose for two stairs. Regardless, the crew worked with my schedule, showed up the next day and finished the last couple of stairs in less than an hour. They were super quick and really worked well as a team while they cut and measured their work. I will hire this team again to do the floors in my next house. Highly recommend!

We have gone to Carpet Close-Outs for the last two jobs I have needed. The first was hard wood floors at our home. Ray made us a very fair deal and his installers did an excellent job of installing the floors. The second job was a total floor replacement on a rental property we were about to put on the market. We purchased porcelain tile planks for the entire house. Once again the installers did a great job and the floors turned out beautiful. We received 5 offers the first day it went on the market, one for $20,000 over ask price! Ray was always helpful with the selections and timing of each project. And the installers showed up on time and were always very fast and professional. I will look forward to working with Ray at Carpet Close-Outs again soon!

I am a realtor/rehabber and order flooring from Carpet Closeout on a monthly basis. They consistently have the lowest prices, great selection and quick delivery of products. I would recommend them to all my clients.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Customers call and tell us what type of carpet or flooring they are wanting. We check through our inventory of specials to find a few options that most closely match the requests of the consumer.; we send photos and pricing and also the address and directions to the showroom closest to them so they can go in and see the samples in person. Then we place their order for the one they like best that saves them the most money!

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

We are a family owned business. My father's first company was founded in 1923. Spun off and started my own wholesale division in 1989 and then we expanded from there.
