Phil dj'ed for my 4th of July block party in 2014. It was off the chain! Everyone who was in attendance had a blast, neighbors included! He had some fresh new jams as well as the classics everyone loves, but most of all was his professional work ethic and can do attitude! I WILL have "2 the Nines" at every one of my shindigs!

Phil brought the music and entertainment for our wedding on June 19th. Everything was so perfect. He is truly a professional, and it was effortless and a pleasant experience for us. He kept the crowd happy and entertained, had a great selection of music and even took requests as they came! He even had a great set up for our outdoor music when we were walking down the aisle. The sound system sounded great! He was very prepared with a timeline and smoothly transitioned from events (like garter toss, speeches etc...) to dancing. Thank you so much for making our special day PERFECT!

Phill was the dj for our wedding and he did an amazing job. As soon as we talked on the phone I knew I did not have to worry about anything. There were several things I forgot about (garter belt toss and the bouquet toss) for example and he had it all taken care of. He was very friendly with everyone and even let some of the kids help him. I highly recommend phill he was perfect for our special day!

Absolutely flawless talent! Professional, energetic and organized from the beginning of the event, to the very end. 2 The Nines created the perfect atmosphere and mood that we wanted for our special day. Handsome, charismatic, and friendly - I would recommend 2 The Nines very highly. And if he didn't move to Florida, we would be booking his services again for future events :)

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
- I like to have an initial phone call or email with the client to get an overarching idea of what services they require and the specifics of the job (Dates, Locations, Times, etc). From there I will draft a contract with the related info for the customer to review. Upon review, if both parties are satisfied we will sign the contract and move forward with an indepth planning or organization needed to meet their needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Certificate of Professional Music, Video Production & Multimedia from Portland Community College. I also have DJ'd in the Portland area for over 7 years and been involved with various Audio/Video Productions & Recording Engineering projects over the years.
