I am a CPA who has been working with Deb Toler for the past year and have been very impressed with her accounting skills and understanding. She is the accountant for one of my clients and the job requires use of QuickBooks to account for 5 different companies. Intercompany transactions are frequent and she does an excellent job of accounting for them. There are daily, monthly and annual tasks in Deb's job description as well as special projects that require accounting and analysis skills and she does an excellent job at both. As an example, she developed an Excel worksheet to export comparative financial statements, added budgeted amounts and then analyzed actual to budgeted amounts and explained the differences. Her employer is very demanding and she is able to complete the tasks and requirements of her job in a very dedicated and timely manner. Deb goes above and beyond in her performance and is a pleasure to work with!

I'm retired and own a franchise sub sandwich shop. We had our current accounting service suddenly quit. There were on going issues with taxing entities and my books which were in desperate need of reconciling. As a Quickbooks certified agent and expert Deb stepped in and unraveled all of the issues brought on by the sudden departure of her predecessor and within a few weeks had my shop well on its way to recovery. I'm looking forward to working with her and highly recommend her service.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer new tax clients from Thumbtack a 10% discount off of their tax return preparation fees. I offer new accounting clients a 15% discount on their 1st billing with me--the initial meeting is complimentary.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet personally with a new accounting client. That enables me to build an initial relationship and for both of us to understand the clients' needs and my ability to deliver.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have completed accounting courses, software courses and tax courses. Along with that, I have 30+ years of hands-on accounting and tax experience.
