Introduction: I am a professional dog trainer who has worked for a very busy pet center here in town for the last 8 years. I have trained dogs in obedience, scent detection, service dog work, pet manners and behavior modification. My love of dogs and the bond between people and their dogs has lead me out on my own.
I am a trainer who can't be put in a "box" as far as the method I use. I am well versed in using positive reinforcement methods as well as correction based methods. I work with each dog AND family to find what works for them. My goal is to create a result where the humans and the dog enjoy each other's company and therefore each is enriched by the other.

Roxanne has a number of techniques for the dog training. She listens to what you want the dog to do and then forms a plan to get the dog to change his behavior. She did mostly positive reinforcements but she was not afraid to suggest negative reinforcements if that's what is needed. Fortunately our dog responded well with positive reinforcemenfs
