Last year, I decided to try to promote my project on Kickstarter. I am a classical musician, and, one of my recorded CDs needed more funding to be published. I had never done Kickstarter before, just heard about people doing it more or less successfully. I thought that, had to be prepared really well in order to succeed with the projects, but that was not all. Due to the lack of experience of communicating such matters to the large audience, I needed help of someone, who knew what he/she was doing. When I met with Jon for the first time, I was very nervous to tell the truth. He put things at ease right away, not by promising "all the starts from the sky", but by attentively listening to the description of the project, its goals, and asking questions, that were right to the core of the subject. I felt much better, which helped me open up and even be more creative with the ideas for my presentation. Throughout our two-months Kickstarter promotion project and communication period, I would not wish to have a better teamwork. Jon had been extremely professional, always on top of things; his notifications had always been timely; his writing skills were so effective that, even to his surprise, the responses of the backers were frequent and enthusiastic. As I was seeing Jon in process, it made me look forward to more projects doing in collaboration with him. A very important detail, in spite of being a very busy and a successful professional, Jon has always been extremely responsive. I was able to always rely on his answer, help, advice, or, sometimes, even a cheering word. The last, but definitely not the least, Jon is very creative, witty and quick, which makes working with him even more productive and truly fun.
