Jenn was the first boss I had when I began freelance writing. I was very nervous and anxious about the whole process, and Jenn could not have been more awesome in helping me transition with my new company. She was organized, professional but also very kind and understanding. On top of that, she was an outstanding writer! She edited my work and I learned something new every time I read her wording. She taught me how to be more concise in my writing, how to cut out unnecessary words, and how to simply clean up my thoughts. I learned a great deal from her, and she encouraged me every step of the way. One of my saddest days was finding out she would no longer be my boss. I give her a 5-star, outstanding rating!

Original blog-type articles are most common. I have also written resumes, bios, academic articles, business articles, etc. Editing is fascinating work. I've edited everything from e-books, to theses, to doctoral dissertations, and much more.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently wrote an article about my grandmother's sewing machine that I am quite proud of because of the emotion it evokes and the visual imagery it creates.
