I recently hired Food Underground to cater my parentsâ 40th anniversary dinner. Wow! What a special, delicious, unique event! Ari and Gary were professional and creative right from the start! The menu was created based on my parentsâ favorite foods and memories. They were open to feedback and new ideas. I did not want to question the menu too much as one of their specialties is creativity in menu planning. They put items together I would have never thought about and may have sounded odd on paper, but I had trust that they would be delicious. Thank god I did not make too many changes to the menu as this was one of the best meals ever! From prep to clean up, the Food Underground team were extremely professional. They worked from my parentsâ kitchen and kept everything clean and tidy. They served each dish with a brief explanation and humbly took praise after every bite. The timing was great as it allowed for us to relax and enjoy the company while pacing the many courses. Even the pickiest of eaters was raving about the food by the end. Thank you Ari and Gary for coming up with such a memorable, special evening and delivering such quality that I am not sure I can even step food in a restaurant againï

FoodUnderground catered my birthday dinner this year for 12 friends and they did a fantastic job. They worked with me to create a unique menu and then delivered fantastic food! I will be hiring them again for another event!

We used Food Underground for my brother's 30th birthday and my parents' 40th wedding anniversary. Everything was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious- creative and innovative, but traditional and comfort food-esque at the same time. Ari and Gary were professional and classy and their presentation impeccable. They were both such wonderful celebrations that we were able to enjoy in the comfort of our own homes. I keep thinking of another excuse to throw a party!

I reached out to Ari and Gary to be a part of a private, rooftop concert that I organized in Fishtown. They were immediately open to contributing to this event and were extremely easy to coordinate with and very professional when planning the menu. What was most meaningful about my interaction with them was their competence in their artistry of cooking as well as their open and friendly demeanor. I'm hoping to coordinate again with them soon as I highly respect the work that they do and the creative way in which they are reaching out into the community. I'm a huge fan of food underground!
