Introduction: I've had extensive experience in writing that started as soon as I could pick up a pen. I've developed strong writing skills with my time at Earlham College, crafting numerous essays and editing the work of my classmates. I've also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland where I not only corrected students' work, but worked along side them to ensure that they've done their best.
My own writing is neat and concise. I have a knack for getting to the point without leaving readers behind. I'm available for blogs, resumes, editing, articles, political pieces, reports involving research, both technical and creative writing.
I am confident in my ability to reach many different types of readers. One of my favorite techniques for writing is to look at my pieces from several perspectives. When I approach different topics, I write it from the eyes of a reader who knows nothing about it, while still being engaging to a more experienced audience. I like to ensure that a wide spectrum of readers can relate to and learn from my work.
I am also passionate about researching a topic extensively before I write about it. My degree in Psychology stoked this passion as I loved scouring all available information not only when I had work to complete, but out of sheer curiosity. I take this approach in all of my work and on an assortment of topics.
