Introduction: Over the years horse training has become more competitive. From Pat Parelli's "natural horsemanship" to Clinton Anderson's magic sticks they all have the the same thing in common; income. When money takes over your own passion you being to rush through things and lose the "feel" that is so important when working with these magnificent beasts. I work with horses because I like a challenge. I always expect difficulties and know that every one overcome is a new lesson learned. I am pacient and confident in my work, and do it purely for the love of horses. After all, compassion is key.
The bond between horse and human is like nothing else. For a 1,500lb animal to work with you as a team is remarkable. The satisfaction of gaining that horses trust, and helping other people understand how to "speak horse" is a reward that goes far beyond the career.
