I started my search for a moving company long before the date needed. I read reviews and Chris contacted me quickly! He stayed in touch with me and answered my questions since I never moved long distance before and haven't moved in 25 years. Chris and his crew were more than courteous and kind. Very hard workers. Professional and very cautious with our belongings. Wrapped everything, tied down everything in the truck. Took more items than I asked him too. Do not hesitate to hire Illinois Valley Movers! I absolutloved my experience with Illinois Valley Movers. The communication we had consisted of emails being answered promptly, phone calls answered promptly and when I met Dan and Riley (the movers) they were very nice. They worked hard to get it down around the time I needed it to be completed. I had a lot of little things that made the move take longer and when I ar Ives at my apartment the stairs to the storage were not the best for all the items I had but they were very patient. I would highly recommend them to anyone. They have very reasonable hourly rates. Thank you Chris for making this work for me at th last minute. You rock! Tonya

I hired Illinois Valley to move 3 bedrooms of large, heavy furniture and a large sectional. My new home had white walls and I was nervous about damaging my walls with having such big furniture. The guys at this company moved my furniture without any scratches or damages to my walls, they also finished in a timely manner and they were very nice & pleasant guys!! I am going to rehire them this week to rearrange my furniture and assemble my bedroom sets.
