FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most of my clients are self pay, though the organization where I work (the Lovett Center) may begin accepting insurance soon. My fees run from $80 to $125 based on a client's ability to pay.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My practice is client-centered, so I usually let the client do most of the talking in the first sessions. As we move along, I want to know about a client's family, childhood, work life, social life, history of trauma, drug or alcohol use, medical conditions, etc. I want to leave space for clients to talk about whatever it is they need to talk about.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and have interned for 2 years before joining staff at the Lovett Center. I have experience working with individuals, couples, and groups using a psychodynamic framework. My undergraduate degree is in Spanish (UH Honors College) and I offer services in Spanish and French. I lived and worked in Belgium for three years, where I learned French.
