- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't really have a standard pricing policy but tax preparation is done on a fixed price basis starting at $100 including efiling. Accounting is hourly starting at $25 an hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It really depends on the type of work being done: accounting vs. tax preparation. First meeting is always a fact finding meeting regardless. If tax preparation is the object, then I get the forms, ask questions that aren't answered by the forms and exchange contact info.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I take classes, read industry literature and keep up to date on IRS regulations.
