- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For an exterior project we typically start at $1.30 per square foot and go up. The increase in price will depend on how many times the painter needs to get up on a ladder, how many color changes there are, and if any equipment needs to be rented to complete the project. For interior our pricing starts, for a standard room, at $35 per wall, $50 per ceiling, $15 for doors, and $15 for trim. Again the pricing will vary depending on the height of the wall (how many times the painter has to get up on a ladder), if the area can be sprayed versus rolled, and the amount of different colors.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we call the client to set up an appointment for a free estimate. We sit down with the client to get a good understanding of what the client is looking for . We walk the property with the client so that they can point out areas of concern and so we can address those concerns. Then we walk around alone to make notes of areas that we notice need to be addressed and take measurements. We submit the quote and walk through any questions that they may have regarding any information we have provided.
