- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my live food chef certification from Sunfired Foods Culinary Institute in El Valle de Anton, Panama. I recived my health coach certification from Hallelujah Acres in Gastonia, NC. I have a B.A. in Liberal Arts from NC A&T State University in Greensboro, NC.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been a vegertrian/vegan since 1998 and became a live foodist in May 2013. August of 2013 I was in a car crash where I suffered from many fractures to my face, shoulder, and ankle. After my surgeries I went on a 3 month juice feast. My doctors were amazed at how quickly I recovered from my injuries. I was healing from within because of the live foods and juices I was putting into my body. I ate live foods which created the space to allow the body to do what it is meant to do, which is heal itself.
